Make copies of your resume accessible in multiple formats of Word including the latest. DO NOT USE PDF
PDF is great for making that pretty resume that you will print and take to job fairs and handing to connections but PDF is not compatible with the internet: It doesn't 'parse' meaning take your name, address, phone number, job history, etc and add to the recruiters Applicant Tracking Software.
In other words, PDF does not play well with others in technology today.
You want your resume to be easily found by someone who is using keywords. Place them here and there in your resume.
I know it's hard to know what and where- if you are looking for a management position, put 'Manage', 'manage' or 'management'.
Be sure it is easy for the reader to understand. Have someone else look over your resume for correct grammar and spelling.
