If it is your family, be supportive. Remind them that they can do so many things with their life. It's just about making a plan.
And no: Plans don't always turn out the way we envision them. It's the journey that is life.
Remind them of the things they do well (outside of work) like cooking, or art or some other past time or hobby. Offer to spend a little time learning their craft or hobby.
Your mood and frame of mind can affect every part of your life. Family, friends, and even pets can feel your frustration.
Gaining and maintaining a positive mood can be hard right now but you have to get out of your slump. Enjoying life and the time away from the daily grind can be hard when financial stresses weigh you down.
Get some exercise, turn on your favorite music and dance.
Have a 'plan of attack' just after an Interview. Destress by taking a brisk walk with a friend.
Think about the future and remind yourself that things won't always be like they are right now.
Take some time to think about YOU. YOU are more than just your job. Your friends and family love YOU just for who you are.
